America - Please understand that this Bill will change the nation as no other Bill has in the past! Government will be into all ventures of your life and cost us money, jobs & Freedom!

God Bless America - God Bless the PATRIOTS OF INDEPENDENCE!!!

America - "Out of Control"

America - You must wake up before all life as we know it in this country is changed forever! You seem to be asleep at the wheel and the car is out of control! Our leaders that we have had for years now, Dems & Reps, have been moving toward a more progressive nature. Maybe that is what some of you in America want...but, you can't have some government control in your life without them getting greedy and always wanting more people!

Our nation was found because we were looking to get away from big, out of control government...I would hate for the Founding Fathers to see where we have brought this nation to today! You have to ask yourself are you a PATRIOT or a PINHEAD!! If you want SOCIALISM go to a country that supports it...STOP turning the United States of America into another failed state of Communism! It want work here because of the sleeping giant called Independence!!! We as Americans may not show currently that we will not allow this to happen and you PINHEADS may think you can rush through your agenda! But, I have faith that soon the PATRIOTS of American Independence will be awaken and come 2010 and 2012 the current Progressive-Socialism wanting PINHEADS that are in office will be out on the street!!! So, I say to you PINHEADS now...enjoy your spending & destruction rally!

CHARACTER

TODAY'S TOPIC IS CHARACTER AROUND OBAMA, GOVERNOR OF SC, IRAN & NORTH KOREA
Today I want to talk about three things that really define character today! The first item is the affair of the GOV of SC. I find that his personal life is none of my business one...my heart goes out to his family during these rough times. But, this affair is for him and his wife to work through in life. Now, since he is a public person working for the people...I do have something to say about Politicians that run or say they run for conservative values. I am a Independent Conservative myself and I would never run for office on the nature that I am perfect or that I could tell others how to be perfect. I do not walk on water thus I am open to commit sin! So, I hope for the Conservatives that plan to remain in office and those looking to get into office practice what you preach! Next, Iran and the continuing conflict for the oppressed Freedom of the individuals giving their lives for it in the streets of Iran! I am "APPALLED" at the length of time it took Obama to get to the same point...11 days! It is funny that he said he was not influenced by JM...but, he used the same two words used by him! I am happy you are now at the point that most Americans were at on day 1 of this event! Your words were "Appalled and Outraged"...now Ahmadinejad wants an apology from you...he said "Mr. Obama made a mistake to say those things ... our question is why he fell into this trap and said things that previously (former U.S. President George W.) Bush used to say," the semi-official Fars News Agency quoted Ahmadinejad as saying. "Do you want to speak (with Iran) with this tone? If that is your stance then what is left to talk about," said Ahmadinejad. "I hope you avoid interfering in Iran's affairs and express your regret in a way that the Iranian nation is informed of it." Now, President Obama...Sir, I hope and pray that you do not go back on your words! If you apologize to this man you will be doing it alone and with no support or respect from the American people that I know in my life! This will be a test of character for you...let us see how you respond!!! The last item is North Korea...the leader of this regime is playing you, Mr Obama, like a drum...along with the UN...what is it going to take for the light to go off? This regime warns, threatens, operates and then they laugh at the once proud America! We follow their boat with our Proud Navy and wait for your direction...unless you are going to show me more than you have thus far...STOP WASTING THE VALUABLE TIME OF THE NAVY! You do not have what I think it would require to board and inspect the ship! So, try not to make us look anymore stupid to the world than you already have in this matter! I leave you with this Mr Obama...yesterday during your press interview you said "I am the President and I will do what I think is right without input from others." That remark did not go over well with me because Sir you are the leader of a free nation that put you into office (without my vote...sorry...but, I had knowledge of your character) and part of your job is to represent the people of the United States of America!

Remember, 2012 is coming!!!

In Memory of the Fallen - Neda Soltan

This Blog is for the "Fallen" - Defined as those who have died in war...I believe that the people of Iran that have given their bodies and life for a better future of rights that they want are fighters for FREEDOM! That can be as simple as the FREEDOM to assembly and say "NO...I DO NOT AGREE"!

I may not have the same belief on topics or policy with the Iranians...However, I do support the Independent right of FREEDOM! Also, I support the people that will fight for the right to have it...policy vs humanity!!!

This Blog and the photos are here because I have the FREEDOM to post!

Iranian authorities scramble to negate Neda
Soltan 'martyrdom'

The Iranian authorities have ordered the family of a student shot dead in Tehran to take down mourning posters as they struggle to stop her becoming the rallying point for protests against the presidential election. Neda Salehi Agha Soltan, 26, was killed as she watched a pro -democracy protest, and mobile phone footage of her last moments have become a worldwide symbol of Iran's turmoil. The authorities had already banned a public funeral or wake and have prevented gatherings in her name while the state - controlled media has not mentioned Miss Soltan's death. Today it was reported that they had also told her family to take down the black mourning banners outside their home in the Tehran suburbs to prevent it becoming a place of pilgrimage. They were also told they could not hold a memorial service at a mosque.

Nevertheless posters of Miss Soltan's face have started to appear all over Tehran.

The attempted crackdown came as friends present as Miss Soltan died came forward to detail what happened. Hamid Panahi, her friend and music teacher, told the Los Angeles Times how Miss Soltan was shot as they and two others were making their way to a demonstration in Freedom Square in central Tehran. Their car became stuck in traffic on Karegar Street and they got out for some air. Mr Panahi said that he heard a distant crack and saw Miss Soltan instantly collapse to the ground. "We were stuck in traffic and we got out and stood to watch and, without her throwing a rock or anything, they shot her," he said. "It was just one bullet." He later heard other witnesses claiming that the gunman was not a police officer but one of a group of
plainclothes officials or Basiji militia. He recalled watching in horror as blood came out of her chest and then began to bubble from her nose and mouth - footage that bystanders captured on their mobile phones and posted on the Internet, where she has become a global phenomenon. Mr Panahi said that Neda's last words before she slipped into unconsciousness were: "I'm burning! I'm burning!" A doctor who tried to help ordered him to cover the wound with his hand and press down.

A driver coming the other way offered to take her to hospital in his car, but they took a wrong turn down a dead end and had to switch her body to another car. Protesters screamed at drivers to clear away through the jams but Neda was dead before she reached the operating theatre at Shariati Hospital, said Mr Panahi. "She was a person full of joy," he added. "She was a beam of light. I'm so sorry. I was so hopeful for this woman...

"This is a crime that's not in support of the government, this is a crime against humanity." Family and friends who called at the apartment in great numbers to pay their respects said that Neda was born in Tehran, the second of three children. Her father is a civil servant on a modest salary and her mother a housewife.

After studying Islamic philosophy at Azad university in Tehran, she decided to work in tourism, taking private lessons to become a tour guide and studying Turkish with a view to leading tour groups abroad. She is said to have loved travel and she and two friends had been on package tours to Thailand, Dubai and, two months ago, to Turkey. Persian pop music was one of her passions and she was taking piano lessons. She was also a talented singer. Miss Soltan was not a political activist, said her friends. It was her anger at the election results that impelled her out onto the streets to join Saturday's protest. Friends had begged her not to go, but she replied that she was not afraid to die. "Don't worry, it's just one bullet and then it's over."

"She couldn't stand the injustice of it," said Mr Panahi. "All she wanted was the proper vote of the people to be counted. She wanted to show with her presence that, 'I'm here, I also voted, and my vote wasn't counted'. It was a very peaceful act of protest, without any violence."

Denied a public funeral, the mourners travelled in minivans to Behesht Zahra cemetery where Neda was laid to rest on Sunday afternoon. It was a muted affair, as they were - to their fury - under official orders not to sing her praises loudly or to mourn her loss. They declined to speak but Mr Panahi said he had nothing left to lose in speaking out. "They know me. They know where I am. They can come and get me whenever they want. My time has gone. We have to think about the young people.

"When they kill an innocent child, that is not justice. That is not religion. In no way is this acceptable."

Obama - "Thanks for the Words"

I mean this with all of my heart Mr. President...you have missed an opportunity of a lifetime in Iran! You could have won hearts with a few simple words of wisdom around the chance for people fighting for the right to have a chance to be heard! But, NO you wanted to stay out of the Iranian leadership's way!! I wonder when we are fighting the nukes back from them in the future...what thoughts you will have around the table about the words you could have said to help curb what is coming! Look at the picture shaping up now!! Maybe you are looking...is this outcome the one you wanted? Maybe Americans should ask that question...

Iran's top electoral body rules out vote annulment

Reuters – EDITORS' NOTE: Reuters and other foreign media are subject to Iranian restrictions on their ability …
By KARIN LAUB, Associated Press Writer – 35 mins ago

CAIRO – Iran's top electoral body said Tuesday it found "no major fraud" and will not annul the results of the presidential election, closing the door to a do-over sought by angry opposition supporters alleging systematic vote-rigging.
Iranian government officials have repeatedly suggested that a revote is extremely unlikely. However, Tuesday's announcement by Iran's top electoral body, the Guardian Council, was the clearest yet in ruling out a new election.
The announcement on Iran's state-run English language Press TV is another sign the regime is determined to crush the post-election protests — the strongest challenge to its leadership in 30 years — rather than compromise.
Government warnings to the protesters have intensified.
Ebrahim Raisi, a top judicial official, confirmed Tuesday that a special court has been set up to deal with detained protesters. "Elements of riots must be dealt with to set an example. The judiciary will do that," he was quoted as saying by the state-run radio. The judiciary is controlled by Iran's ruling clerics.
In recent days, Iran's supreme leader has ordered demonstrators off the streets and the feared Revolutionary Guards has threatened a tough crackdown. At least 17 people have been killed in near-daily demonstrations, including at least one that drew hundreds of thousands.
In recent days, members of the Revolutionary Guard, the Basij militia and other Iranian security forces in riot gear have been deployed across Tehran, preventing any gatherings and ordering people to keep moving. A protest of some 200 people Monday was quickly broken up with tear gas and shots in the air.
In a boost for the embattled regime, Russia said Tuesday that it respects the declared election result, which the Iranian government described as a landslide victory for hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The U.S. and many European countries have refrained from challenging the election outcome directly, but have issued increasingly stern warnings against continuing violence meted out to demonstrators.
Ahmadinejad's main challenger, Mir Hossein Mousavi, has charged massive fraud and insists he is the true winner.
However, the Guardian Council found "no major fraud or breach in the election," a spokesman, Abbas Ali Kadkhodaei, was quoted by Press TV as saying. "Therefore, there is no possibility of an annulment taking place."
The 12-member council has the authority to annul or validate the election. On Monday, it said in a rare acknowledgement that it found voting irregularities in 50 of 170 districts, including vote counts that exceeded the number of eligible voters. Still, it said the discrepancies, involving some 3 million votes, were not widespread enough to affect the outcome.
Iran has 46.2 million eligible voters, one-third of them under 30. The final tally was 62.6 percent of the vote for Ahmadinejad and 33.75 percent for Mousavi, a landslide victory in a race that was perceived to be much closer.
According to an analysis by the British think tank Chatham House, the huge margin went against the expectation that the record 85 percent turnout would boost Mousavi, whose campaign energized young people.
Ahmadinejad won crucial backing from Russia on Tuesday, with the Foreign Ministry in Moscow saying it respects the declared election result. In a statement on its Web site, the ministry said that disputes about the vote "should be settled in strict compliance with Iran's Constitution and law" and are "exclusively an internal matter."
Russia, a permanent member of the U.N. Security Council, has longtime political and economic ties with Iran where it is helping build a nuclear power plant at Bushehr. In his only trip abroad since the vote, Ahmadinejad traveled to Russia last week for a conference where he was seen prominently shaking hands with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
Many Western democracies, including the U.S., have criticized the way in which the Iranian government has dealt with the widespread protests, and renewed Iranian government threats of a crackdown have heightened concerns.
In New York, U.N. Secretary Ban Ki-moon urged an "immediate stop to the arrests, threats and use of force," U.N. spokeswoman Michele Montas said Monday.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called on Iran to recount the votes, but stopped short of alleging electoral fraud. French President Nicolas Sarkozy has been outspoken in his criticism of Iran's response to the demonstrations, but said doors must remain open to continue talks on the country's nuclear program.
In contrast, China, Venezuela and some other developing countries tended to be supportive of the Iranian government, whose nuclear activities, alleged involvement in terrorism and influence in regional conflicts have alarmed the West for years.
After a huge opposition rally a week ago, protests have become smaller, but demonstrators have been more willing to confront Iranian troops.
On Monday, Tehran riot police fired tear gas and live bullets to break up about 200 protesters paying tribute to those killed in the protests, including a young women, Neda Agha Soltan, whose apparent shooting death was captured on video and circulated worldwide. Witnesses said helicopters hovered overhead.
Caspian Makan, a 37-year-old photojournalist in Tehran who identified himself as Soltan's boyfriend, said she had not been deterred by the risk of joining protests. "She only ever said that she wanted one thing, she wanted democracy and freedom for the people of Iran," he told an Associated Press reporter during a telephone call from Tehran.
Severe restrictions on reporters have made it almost impossible to independently verify reports on demonstrations, clashes and casualties. Iran has ordered reporters for international news agencies to stay in their offices, barring them from reporting on the streets.
A number of journalists have been detained since the protests began, though there have been conflicting accounts. The Paris-based Reporters without Borders put the figure of reporters detained at 34.
The New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists said 13 were still in custody, including Newsweek correspondent Maziar Bahari.
The Iranian government must release all journalists and halt "unreasonable and arbitrary measures that are restricting the flow of information," the committee said. "Detaining journalists for reporting news and commentary indicates the government has something to hide."

We need more teachers like this. She actually knows history as it happened, not as it has been rewritten, or erased.

Mr. Obama:< br>
I have had it with you and your administration, sir. Your conduct on your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an adequate representative of the United States of America collectively or of me personally.

You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the United States of America . You are responsible to the citizens of the United States . You are not responsible to the people of any other country on earth.

I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care about their status in the world. Sir, what do you think the First World War and the Second World War were all about, if not the consideration of the people of Europe? Are you brain dead? What do you think the Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history of the 20th century?

Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States ? This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics, at least until you came along, and the principles governing this country come directly from this heritage. Do you not understand this?

Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all Americans. Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi Arabia . You didn't show Great Britain , our best and one of our oldest allies, the respect they deserve, yet you bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia . How dare you, sir! How dare you!

You can’t find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation because you don’t want to offend the Germans, but make time to visit a mosque in Turkey . You offended our dead and every veteran when you gave the Germans more respect than the people who saved the German people from themselves. What’s the matter with you?

I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have the historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you.

You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American automobile manufacturers, yet do nothing about the real thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae bonuses, and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do about them? Anything? I seriously doubt it.
Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that's $45 million more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already been awarded $51 million – not a bad take. Who authorized that and why haven’t you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have right now.

What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to their staff members – on top of the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer. You haven’t said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely didn’t!

I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and not caring about what you idiots do. We are watching what you are doing and we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you.

I also want you to know that I personally find just about everything you do and say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities. I promise you that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not get a chance to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country.
Sincerely,

Ms. Kathleen Lyday
